Business and Oil

It’s hard to compare today to 10 days ago! Just taking a look at my neighborhood and seeing that most of the stores that were around are now close. One of the businesses that have been most affect might have to be the local meat and fresh produce market. It was hard for me to believe that one of my uncles lost his job. At first I thought that he was just playing around but after a few days that I kept seeing him around the house I actually believe him. He told me that since there was no more oil there was no more use for truck drivers. As more and more times goes by I can see that it is getting harder to live as it is. I had to take actions for my self if I wanted to stay alive, so I got in my head that I had to start planting my own fruits and vegetables. What I believe that we need to do now is to start our own community garden. We are limited to the resource but not for the essentials to survive. We have to set aside our wants and focus on our needs. I started taking public transportation and to tell you the truth for a student it’s really cheap. It’s less than 40 dollars a month and I can go were ever want. I only use the car when I have to which is rare. I find funny because most of the major companies that would make their money on peoples wants are no longer rich, they are falling apart, and most of them don’t even exist any more. I still can’t believe that it caused us the oil for people to start realizing how dependent we have become on so many things.
