Where's MY FRUIT?

Today I was surprise to fin that so many different of my fruits come from different places, such as bananas come from Guatemala and granola bars come from Minneapolis, MN. I can’t believe that in order for me to have my fruit at the corner market it takes so much oil. One of the most popular fruit that is known comes from Guatemala that is about 2192 miles to travel to get to the corner of my street. Now with out oil I haven’t had bananas, it has been so long that I have tried them I forgot how they tasted. Now little by little more and more food is going to start disappearing, food and fruit from foreign places. Well believe it or not I have started to grow my own strawberries and they are looking really good. ^_^. I have tried to go to a Farmers market but the distance for me to travel everyday and go get some fresh food is not an option, maybe once a week would be nice but not every day. That’s why I started the strawberry patch. I have also found a Fresh and Easy market but the distance if the problem again. With the transportation situation I can’t carry much in my hand so there for I have to go back and forth and like I said earlier it is only good for maybe once a week but not every day. I wonder how long will this last till people realize that this is not going away it is HERE and HERE to stay…
